KONTRONIK offers the gearboxes KPG 25 and KPG 27 ready mounted on KIRA motors. However, the KPG25 can also be retrofitted to all motors with a 3.17 mm shaft diameter using a suitable adapter flange. The scope of delivery of the gear unit includes the motor pinion, which must be glued to the shaft using a Loctite adhesive (e.g. Loctite 648). The bonding can be released again with heat. The motor pinion is missing from the 6.7:1 gearbox, since a splined shaft is used here, which cannot be retrofitted.
The scope of delivery naturally includes the needle bearing planets. The gearbox is already lubricated. If a direct drive is subsequently converted to a gear unit, a suitable adapter flange must also be purchased.
