In version 1.10 the telemetry functions for the KOSMIK 170/210/250/300 HV & HV-I have been extended. Data exchange is now also possible with:
- PowerBox
- FrSky
- Futaba CGY 760
- JETI CentralBOX
There are some special features to note with this software update.
When downloading the software update, the virus scanner may report a virus . The software has been checked by KONTRONIK and is definitely virus-free, so the virus message can be ignored. KONTRONIK will make every effort to find a solution as quickly as possible.
To avoid errors and malfunctions during the update, the update process must be carried out as described below:
First, a bootloader update to software version 1.0 must be performed. Version 1.0 overwrites the existing firmware of the KOSMIK and does not contain any additional functions!
The following steps are used to install the bootloader update, version 1.0 on the KOSMIK 170/210/250/300 HV & HV-I:
1. install the bootloader update, version 1.0 with the ProgUnit.
ATTENTION: When starting the update, the error message appears that the software is older than the existing software on the KOSMIK. Please confirm this error message with “Yes” and the update will start.
After the update is finished, unplug the battery.
IMPORTANT: Connect the motor and receiver.
Reconnect the battery.
Wait until the controller beeps. The beep confirms that the bootloader update has been successfully installed.
Now that the bootloader has been updated, the new firmware version 1.10 must be installed on the KOSMIK.
