As part of the standardization of our product portfolio, the KPG 25 4.2:1, KPG 25 5.2:1, and KPG 27 4.2:1, as well as their spare parts, will be discontinued and removed from the product range effective July 1, 2026.
This will also result in a change in the gearboxes for the KIRA 400 and KIRA 480 motors. Starting July 1, 2026, these will no longer be available with the KPG 25 5.2:1, but with the KPG 27 5.2:1.
Until then, the KIRA 400 and KIRA 480 with the KPG 25 5.2:1, as well as the KPG 25 4.2:1, KPG 25 5.2:1, KPG 27 4.2:1, and their spare parts, can still be purchased from us as usual while supplies last.
Switching from an existing KPG 25 5.2:1 to the KPG 27 5.2:1 is possible without modifying the pinion, so that the “old” KPG 25 5.2:1 is simply unscrewed and the “new” KPG 27 5.2:1 is screwed on.
This ensures that even in a few years, you won’t have to buy a new motor should the gearbox ever become worn or damaged.
