{"id":4996,"date":"2023-04-04T11:40:01","date_gmt":"2023-04-04T09:40:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/news\/march-4-2023-new-software-for-the-kolibris"},"modified":"2023-04-04T12:20:59","modified_gmt":"2023-04-04T10:20:59","slug":"march-4-2023-new-software-for-the-kolibris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/en\/news\/march-4-2023-new-software-for-the-kolibris","title":{"rendered":"April 4, 2023 &#8211; New software for the KOLIBRIS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>For the KOLIBRI models (HV-I and LV-I) we have now made the new software V3.3 available for download.<\/p>\n\n<p>The new software enables active protection of the KOLIBRI&#8217;s electronic components during rapid load changes and avoids false overcurrent fault detection.<br\/>In the event of a short-term motor blockage, for example, the current is reduced to zero. After removing \/ releasing the blockage, the controller continues operation. A hard shutdown due to the current is no longer necessary.<\/p>\n\n<p>After the successful firmware update, a bootloader update must also be performed as described below.<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Update firmware as usual with the ProgUNIT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After the update is complete, disconnect the drive battery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect the controller to the motor and receiver.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Program mode 1.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disconnect the drive battery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect the drive battery and wait until the controller initializes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Press and hold the button until the controller beeps (this may take several seconds). The beep of the bootloader update is different from that of the mode programming and is therefore easily recognizable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disconnect the drive battery and reconnect it. The controller then initializes and is ready for the user-defined setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For control purposes, the controller software V3.3 and bootloader V3.1 are now displayed in K-Config V1.3.11.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/KUpdate_60LV.zip\">KOLIBRI 60 LV-I<\/a><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/KUpdate_90LV.zip\">KOLIBRI 90 LV-I<\/a><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/KUpdate_140LV.zip\">KOLIBRI 140 LV-I<\/a><br\/><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/KUpdate_90HV.zip\">KOLIBRI 90 HV-I<\/a><br\/><a href=\"https:\/\/kontronik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/KUpdate_140HV.zip\">KOLIBRI 140 HV-I<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the KOLIBRI models (HV-I and LV-I) we have now made the new software V3.3 available for download.
